The Brooklings Institute recently named Baton Rouge as one of the top 100 Cities in the country to best weather the recession, citing economic performance - in fact, we came in at Number 8!!!  It's great to be in the top of a poll for a change!!!  This poll reflects what the Chamber here has been saying for some time, things are alright in Baton Rouge!

Baton Rouge was cited as being one of the best cities to ride out the recessiong due to construction, stable government employment, and our energy sector!  Add to that, our stable housing market, and once more, Baton Rouge is a GREAT place to call home!!
